Jill Cook is the Leader of the Litigation Department of The Law For All, PA, joining in 2024. Jill's practice focuses on representing individuals and businesses in litigation, including disputes over contracts, property, business, banking, franchising, consumer protection, employment and probate. She has over 25 years of legal experience.
Jill began her career as a federal judicial clerk for the Honorable Rosemary Barkett on the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, followed by private practice as a commercial litigator at Akerman LLP and Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney in Miami. She served as in-house counsel at Office Depot, Lady of America Franchise Corporation, Braman Management, Oceania Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings. She most recently served as chief legal officer for a federal credit union. Her in-house experience includes highly regulated industries: automobile dealerships, franchising, passenger cruise, hospitality and retail sales.
With experience on both sides, Jill has a unique ability to help businesses develop creative and effective resolutions to business disputes, risk mitigation and risk assessment. Jill has outstanding negotiation and relationship-building skills with a natural ability to quickly build trust and rapport with clients.
Jill graduated with a Bachelor degree and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri. Jill is licensed in Florida, Missouri and Tennessee. While not in the courtroom, Jill enjoys the Florida sunshine, reading and spending time with her dogs, Grace and Tom Petty.
