James Paul is the Leader of the Business Law Department of The Law For All, PA, which he joined in January of 2024. James focuses the firm's practice on representing small businesses on a variety of matters, including but not limited to contract drafting and review, corporate partnerships and disputes, mergers and acquisition, franchising, and general counsel for small businesses. James has a diverse practice background, as he previously worked in private practice at Shutts and Bowen, LLP, Florida's oldest law firm, in its Business Litigation department - where he worked on complex business litigation matters for a variety of diverse clients. Additionally, James has worked as in-house Corporate Counsel for a billion-dollar manufacturing company, where he regularly handled and advised internal stakeholders on corporate, banking, employment, real estate, IT, supply chain/logistics, research and development, international and domestic distribution, marketing and litigation matters.

James obtained both his Bachelors and Master's degrees in Sports Management and Marketing Management, respectively from St. John's University (NY). James was a member of the St. John's football team where he started forty-two consecutive games (over his four-year tenure) and was named team captain his senior year. During his undergraduate studies, James obtained his license with the National Football Players Association as a certified Contract Advisor, where he currently represents and negotiates contracts on behalf of players and the NFL. James currently advises families and student athletes nationally on the ever-changing landscape of the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) laws.

While attending law school as a part time student, at Nova Southeastern University, James was a member of Nova's Law Review and Nova's Trial Association Team. While attending Nova, James worked within the Housing unit at Legal Aid of Broward County, where he regularly advised clients on landlord tenant matters.

James is married, with three children and spends most of his free time traveling between states recruiting potential NFL clients, attending school events, softball, soccer and baseball practices and games.
